#MBBChallenge Day 10: What Time is it? #Tooth Hurty

Day #10: Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015

Q: What time is it when you go to the dentist?

A: Two thirty (tooth hurty)

Wednesday started off with an early morning for work to allow time to go to the dentist. All I can think of when I go to the dentist is Steve Martin’s character in Little Shop of Horrors. Thankfully, my new dentist is nothing like that. Long story short- crown was put in wrong, I have cavities, I will have to come back to get shots of novocaine and drilling. Not fun.

On the bright side? At least I don’t have to have a root canal? I think.

I missed boot camp tonight because I had a lot of catching up to do with work after being away from my computer for 3 hours. I’m planning on doing boot camp tomorrow and getting on that scale! My hoe scale says I lost four pounds but I don’t know what Max’s is going to tell me.

The goal of the 6-week challenge is to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks. But it’s more than just that. For me it’s about making little changes so that it sticks. In the past when I would join a gym I’d be all gung-ho the first few days and workout so hard that I’d make myself sore and not go back. THen I would do it all over again a few weeks later.

This time I am listening to what my body tells me. And this time I have way more accountability… like my trainers and my blog. THIS time I will do it. Just you wait!

Day #10 stats:

  • Breakfast: Shake and coffee with half& half
  • Lunch: Wasn’t hungry, tooth hurt 😦
  • Dinner: Grilled chicken and veggies on the George Foreman grill!
  • Workout: nothing today
  • Starting weight: 1×8 <– I have no idea… can’t wait to weigh myself on Max’s scale tomorrow!
  • Lost 0 (?)  pounds
  • (?) to go
